This 1976 Mossman Golden Era belonged to Matt for 17 years, but it's ready to find a new home! As featured in the youtube video from the Driftwood Guitars Youtube Channel:
https://youtu.be/YGFWlwma0p8
The guitar is in great shape considering its age, with some checking on the lacquer, but no cracks in the wood or loose braces. The fretboard has the ski-jump at the end of the fretboard that is not uncommon in guitars from this time period, but it is structurally sound. This guitar has a transverse brace, so there's no concern over the "Agony of De-feet" you can find in some old Mossmans. The only thing to consider is that the frets on the guitar are showing a little bit of wear, but there is plenty of life left in them. A previous luthier re-did the frets and didn't extend them past the binding which is a choice that only they can know the reasoning behind. But, with a fresh neck reset, this guitar is ready to be played and loved for many years to come. Guitar comes with a hard shell case that as far as I know is the original, but I can't say for certain.
